This is an overview of the process to build and distribute apps.

You use a computer web browser to log in to the MyPhotoApp builder program and create your apps.

The creation process is composed of:

  • Designing the app
  • Uploading content - photos, music, video etc..
  • Add text and other features to the app
  • Publish your App by pressing the publish button
  • View and test your app
  • Share The unique app URL by text, email or SMS
  • Your clients click the app URL on their device to view it
  • Your clients will be prompted to install the app and save it on their mobile device

Things To Consider

If you have already design your apps for your brand, you can save that as a template, so for subsequent apps, you can skip over the design process and just use your template and upload content to speed up the app creation process.

As you build your App changes you make are automatically saved and there is no need to worry about saving your design.

When you publish your App your design is processed and a working app is created with a unique URL for that app that you can share with your clients.   The publish status window also includes the ability to text your app, share it on facebook and a sample email that you can send to your clients to make it even easier for you.

If you provide your clients with the App URL via an email or a text message, they only need to press the URL to open it in the default mobile browser, safari for IOS devices, or Chrome for android devices.

The app will start up on their device and the first time they open the app on the device via the URL, it will provide them with instructions on how to install the app on their device so that it will be on their home screen and always available at the touch of a button.   The app install process is simple and only takes a few clicks.

NOTE: If you share apps via facebook or facebook messenger the facebook browser does not support popups and the install prompt will not be displayed.  You can optionally add an install app button to your apps that will provide  the install instruction as well.

Here is are the instructions on how to install apps on mobile devices:
