The Layout of an App includes the different sections that comprise the App together with your branding information, color scheme, and contact details.

There are four buttons to choose from:

Add Section

Click on this button to add a new layout section to an App. You will be prompted to choose what type of section you want to add. Different section features are available depending on the subscription level.

Layout Settings

Click this button to add  basic the color scheme and default  SEO, search engine optimization, key words and phrases for your Apps and make changes to the app default color scheme.  The default SEO information entered here will be overridden when an SEO section is added to an App.  The color scheme you choose can  be set as  the default for All future  App which will replace the color scheme in the brand quick set up or you can choose to apply it to just the current app you are working on - great when creating apps for third parties.   This is also where you can specify a color for the computer background when the app max width is smaller than the device screen it is viewed on here.  App color schemes can also be overridden with a custom color in each section in the individual setting menus.

Save As Template

Click this button to save the layout of the current App as the default layout for future apps you build.  Everything, except gallery images, is saved; color scheme, layout sections and settings.  If you make further changes to the layout, without saving them, then the changes will only effect the  current app you are working on.

You can also save an app layout as a template for future use.  The templates you save will then appear on the Create App  Menu for you to choose as the starting point for your new App.    This is useful when you want to make apps which have unique requirements, for example for another business.

Finally if you have updated the Default layout you can restore the MPA default app template here.

Quick Setup

This is an important part of your brand set up as the information added is used to set up each new app you create.  Click on this button to :

  • Upload your logo
  • Add your contact details
  • Specify your brand colors and
  • Add your social media Account details

Details are then automatically added to the relevant sections every time you create a new App.   You can still choose to override these details  for individual Apps by customizing the sections.
