It is now easy to add a contact button for your clients to either share their App with others via text or send you an SMS text message.  The standard Contact and Share button sections used in the default MPA template now include an SMS Text button.   The mobile number you entered in the Brand Quick Setup will automatically be added to the contact by SMS button.

If you want to override this and use a different mobile number, for example for an app for a third party,  simply go to the button section settings menu and edit the button link by replacing the default syntax brand-sms with sms:xxxxxxxxx where 'xxx' is the mobile number you wish the text message to go to.

If you are using an older App or Template all you need to do is replace the old button section with a new one to update to the latest version and include this option.

There are over 500 buttons you can choose from if you wish to customise your  buttons by going to the buttons settings.  You can type in a keyword in the filter box to search for the icon you are looking for to see if it is included or scroll through and choose an icon for your button. To add a contact by Text button search for 'comment' to bring up some suitable icons. Click on the icon you want to return to the button settings menu.

NOTE: SMS text buttons will not work on a computer, even an iMac with iMessage, so you will need to check out the App on a mobile device.

Once you have  customised your sections you can click on the save as template menu icon and click save as default template to cause the builder to use your current layout for all future apps or save as a particular template for future use.  Alternatively, you can right-click on the updated Button section and save it as a custom section to use as and when you want.
